Flora & Fauna

Because nothing says Summer quite like flowers in bloom. As seen at Versus, D&G and Erdem.

Victoria by Victoria Beckham: A Lower Priced Range

Singer (kind of) turned fashion designer Victoria will launch a new, more ‘affordable’ line called Victoria by Victoria Beckham due for fashion delivery in Spring 2012.

She told Women’s Wear Daily this collection could have been influenced by her pregnancy and the fact that she’s to have a girl as these pieces are more playful and girly than her Victoria Beckham line, now in its sixth season.

Dress from the Spring 2012 range

When Victoria says affordable she means prices will retail around the £345 ($550) and £560($900) range which, when you consider her mainline dresses cost anything from £900 to £4,000, we suppose it’s a lot kinder to the wallet.

Victoria said: “I’m opening these designs to women and girls of all different shapes and sizes, people who maybe want something less tight and clingy and structured. It also makes it more comfortable for during the day. You can wear them with a pair of flats or a pair of heels and they look great. I take it (the price) into account when I’m designing the other line as well."

"Simply having a pocket — there are repercussions. Even with a handbag that costs thousands and thousands and thousands of pounds, I’m not going crazy. I’m still aware of how much the hardware costs exactly, exactly what the skin costs, how much the lining costs. At no point do I ever say it’s one of those one-off
showpieces.”

The Victoria Beckham range (which includes denim, bags and eyewear) is a commercial success – the brand made $8 million last year and celebrities and fashion editors love to be seen wearing it.

A lot has been made of the fact that she has brought this collection out while being pregnant with baby number 4. While taking nothing away from her, let’s not forget that she is a millionaire with an army of staff to take care of her every need or want, it’s not like she’s knee deep in Fairy liquid and ironing!

We do like the fact that unlike a lot of celebrities, most recently Mariah Carey who should have known better, she didn’t do a tacky half naked ‘look-at-my-pregnant-belly-everyone’ magazine cover.

She said of the offer: “I’m not really one of these people that likes to go out and pose and flaunt being pregnant. Not like there’s anything wrong in that. I’m so proud to be pregnant and I feel so blessed and so happy, I really do. But I’m just not that kind of person. So, no, I won’t be taking my clothes off. I don’t think anyone needs to see that, other than my husband. Absolutely not.’ We wholeheartedly agree. Do it if you want, but keep it to yourself!

The Roots & John Varvatos

Menswear designer John Varvatos (fans include Common, Zac Efron and NBA star Chris Bosh) has chosen super cool group The Roots to front its Fall advertising campaign.

“I’ve been a huge fan of The Roots for years,” said Varvatos of the Philly based band that have won four Grammy’s for their jazz-influenced approach to hip-hop. “They are one of the most innovative musical forces on the planet.”

We're sure it doesn't hurt that stylistically they already look great!

A bonus from the Fall campaign was an impromptu jam on the tarmac that was captured with one camera and in one take which will be featured on the John Varvatos website from tomorrow. Looks like the relationship between fashion and music, which we highlighted in this post, continues to get stronger.

Watch The Roots for John Varvatos video here. It’s over 8 minutes long but the music is great so most definitely worth it.

Bill and Tom Kaulitz in soon Sci-fi movie "The Robbers" with

If you can rely on one then at the Tokio Hotel fans. They know, as far as "their" band, that is usually always more than any normal Durschnitts journalist. For this reason, it is for some may be no big secret that Tom and Bill may soon be as big screen heroes arrive in theaters - in an admittedly somewhat strange-looking interpretation of Schiller's classic "The Robbers".

This will identify the twins, so it wants the director Christoph Gampl at least, assume the roles of Karl and Franz, the moderate in an Orwellian police state live in 2039th Karl, who impersonated by Tom will be, abhors the regime and fights as a resistance fighter with all means for his

freedom, while Franz aka Bill itself does everything for it to seize power for himself and does not ultimately even of consideration for his family. Besides the actual act that is intended to remind the basic features of the core problem in "The Robbers", the viewer gets animated gimmicks, but also a certain amount to the ears.

Putting a literary masterpiece as blatant as new members of scene can be really good, but can also go against the mighty tree, the big people have been forced to admit in front of him.

or Gampl certainly stood rather quickly that it must be the Kaulitz brothers for the film, as well could find parallels to their own lives and character traits. However, has not been officially confirmed that the guys ever feel like your project.

So far, only accumulate the rumors on the Internet, but begin filming in September, so until then we can say with certainty that if Tom and Bill will soon be involved in the film project.

“Living in the lap of luxury isn't bad, except that you never know when luxury is going to stand up”
-Orson Welles

Theirs:

1) The Mood Rocking Bed $2,995

Take a rocking chair and a bed, combine them and you have the Mood Rocking Bed. This bed literally sways you to sleep... Rock-A-Bye Glamour Whore!! The "sway speed" is controlled with rubber stoppers. Genius... As a lifelong insomniac I need this bed in my life. It helps that its also visually appealing and can used both indoors and outside. Imagine putting this bed on the beach and swaying to sleep to the sound of the ocean?! *sigh*

2) The "Lets Crystal It" $25,000 Toilet (Via Luxury Launches)

100,000 Swarovski crystals and a platinum seat. Sold!! And I probably wouldn't even use it... I mean, how would you even clean it?! But I still want it... It looks pretty and would be a great conversation piece.

His:

The $100,000 Razor

Did you know Iridium was 10x more rare than platinum? Me either. I learned from researching the Zaffiro $100,000 razor which is made from the apparently very precious metal. The decadent grooming tool also features platinum screws and blades made of white sapphire... I personally would never spend $100,00o on a razor unless it was guaranteed I would never have to shave again. Ever. BUT... I would so love to meet a man that would. For 2 reasons... 1) Because for some reason this strikes me as the kind of product that a James Bond/Renaissance type man would own and that type of man is sexy to me... 2) Because as soon as he left for work or to go off on some "mission" I would sooooo be in a scented bubble bath shaving my legs with it... I'm sorry but I just know that the feel of white sapphire razor blades against my thigh would be deliriously, decadently sexy... Don't judge me.

Hers:

The $$587,500 (or 3.8 million "Yuan") Diamond Cooking Pot:

As with the aforementioned toilet, I would never actually use this pot. It has solid gold handles (totaling 738 grams of gold) and 13 diamonds. Nope, I would put fire to this gorgeous pot. But I want it anyway. It's just so damn pretty... Oh, and did I mention they deliver it to your house in a Rolls Royce? You don't get to keep the car, but still... Nice touch.

"Forgiveness is the key that unlocks the door of resentment and the handcuffs of hate. It is a power that breaks the chains of bitterness and the shackles of selfishness."
~William Arthur Ward

The Louis Vuitton Fall 2011 handbag line features a particular clutch that I'm literally aching for... Aching. A stunning gold clutch with a handcuff. Yes, I said a handcuff. And I want it badly. Oh so badly... Won't somebody please cuff that divinely haute bag to my wrist and throw away the key? Please... Pretty please.

The rest of the collection is fab too... Lacking the S&M/Fetish feel (which I find so appealing) of the aforementioned lust have but still noteworthy:
