Life Unexpected DVD gets a release date

 There is good news and bad news. The good news is that Warner has announced that  fan-favourite Life Unexpected, will finally be released on DVD on April 5, 2011. However, the DVD will be released under the name Life Unexpected: The Complete Series, which has only fueled rumours that the show will get canceled after its current second season.

 The DVD will include all episodes from the show's two seasons as well as a wide variety of extras, including a behind-the-scenes feature, deleted scenes, and a gag reel.

Sadly, it seems as if all signs point to the inevitable cancellation of the show. Looking on the bright side, at least fans still get a proper DVD release with many goodies to relive the best moments of the show over and over again.

The other day I received an email regarding the upcoming release of Sex And The City 2 on DVD and Blu-ray. It presented a challenge. Literally. Warner Brother's is challenging bloggers to show off their fashion sense and promote their blogs at the same time. At first I dismissed it. Then in the throes of a boring Sunday I decided to take a look. Before I knew it I had created a "set" for each character. It was actually really fun... And easy. If you've ever played around on Polyvore you will be able to to do this with ease. I'm going to show you my creations and copy and paste the contents of the email so you can participate if it's something you'd like to do.

In preparation for the upcoming release of “Sex and the City 2” on DVD and Blu-ray this October 26th, Warner Bros. is announcing the premiere of a new website where fashion bloggers like you can showcase your Fabulous Fashion sense and promote your blog at the same time! We will also be choosing random bloggers who participate to receive free copies of the blu-ray DVD.

At the Sex and the City 2 Fabulous Fashion website, users can create style sets for each of their favorite characters using fashions inspired by the film. We encourage you to display your fashions on your blogs and let your readers know they are welcome to create their own as well. The more fashion, the better, right? Not only that, but as part of our special Fashion Blogger Challenge, bloggers who submit their style sets will be entered for a chance to have their style sets and blogs promoted on the Sex and the City 2 social media pages, including our Facebook page with over 2 million fans.

How to Participate:

1. Visit http://www.sexandthecityfabulousfashion.com/ and create your own Sex and the City-themed style sets. Make as many as you please!

2. After submitting your style set, select “Email to a Friend” and send your fashions to SATC2dvd@42west.net Be sure to include your name, email, and link to your blog so we can contact you if you are chosen to be featured.

3. Spread the word! Show off your fashions to your blog community!
