All week I have been looking at pictures and video from Paris Fashion Week for Fall 2010. The shows are incredible. Simply incredible. The late great Alexander McQueen's show however...UTTERLY MAGNIFICENT. Seriously. I can barely think, speak or type. Breathing is somewhat of an issue also at this point. I am not going to dwell on the fact that he is not here or that this collection maybe one of his best yet. Instead I will simply say: Enjoy the sublimely decadent couture you are about to see and please... take it ALL in. ALL OF IT. Marvel at the fab spiked mohawks and FIERCE studded shoes/boots. So divine...

Yes. You read correctly... I said $106,794. I also said Cupcake. Why so surprised?! Oh!! Did I forget to mention the 5.48 ct round diamond? This is no ordinary cupcake...

Available in a choice of vanilla or chocolate cake, the cupcake is topped with a GIA-certified 5.48 ct round diamond, F color – Si2 clarity. You have no idea how happy this cupcake makes me...



You may remember a post I did awhile back about another diamond cupcake offered by Mervis Diamond Importers... At only $30,000 and a mere 2 carat diamond topper, it's looking a little meek right about now.

~This Is A Bit Much...Even For Me~

I make no secret of my love of all things decadent... The more it costs the more I love it...usually. I am all for luxury items... So when I came across the new Guerlain ‘Idylle’ perfume, I fell in love with the gorgeous 18 Karat gold unique capsule Designer Ora Ita created to house the scent. The bottle, a limited edition, has stunning Baccarat crystal encasing it. The price? $45,000.

Now...I actually have no problem with a perfume priced at $45,000. I'm happy for the people that can enjoy such decadence... What I have a problem with, is that to get to the 18 karat gold perfume bottle, you have to SHATTER the Baccarat crystal surrounding it. So, people are supposed to spend $45,000 on a perfume because of the 18 karat gold detail and the Baccarat glass and then BREAK IT?! That's not decadence...that is sheer STUPIDITY.

Seriously. Stupid.
