As I was researching shoes for my previous post "Shoe Whore In Heat" I came across a STUNNING pair of Dior's... I found them bewitching. Yup. Instant shoe lust. But then... I got a feeling....shoe deja vu. I had a feeling I had seen them before. A long time ago. I checked to make sure I was looking at a current collection. Yup. So where had I seen them... POW!! It came to me...they are strikingly similar to Coppelia Pique's insanely gorgeous shoe from at least a year ago. Have a look....

Coppelia Pique:

Christian Dior:

See?! You do see it...right? I feel they are a tad too close for comfort. And as much as I adore me some Dior...I actually prefer the Coppelia's. Give me your opinion...

“A woman's perfume tells more about her than her handwriting.” ~Christian Dior

The latest fashion mini-movie, a hot trend in fashion advertising right now, comes from Dior. David Lynch shot the Alfred Hitchcock influenced commercial "Lady Dior" starring Marion Cotillard. As anticipation over the release builds, a "making of" video has been circulating... Showing photographer Annie Leibovitz directing Cotillard as Dior Creative Director John Galliano looks on...

And it has been confirmed that it is the legendary Martin Scorsese who been directing the new Chanel No.5 perfume commercial starring Audrey Tatou in Brooklyn NY...can't wait to see that.
