What to do on a rainy day in New York?

Most people think is a good idea to visit a museum such as Moma or Metropolitan when is pouring down with rain (I did aswell), but actually the thing to do is to go and check out the small galleries or small museums such as Frick Collection or Neue Gallery. There is also a lot of very interesting galleries on Chelsea.
I will also recomend you to go to the cinema ( I love the Sunshine Cinema) or to a big department store, you have a lot in New York: Barneys, Saks, Bloomingdales, Bergdorf & Goodman (with a really good view from the coffe shop on the 7th floor), Lord & Taylor, Macy´s...

Mucha gente piensa que es buena idea visitar museos como el Moma o el Metropolitan cuando está lloviendo a cántaros (yo también lo pensaba), pero en realidad lo que hay que hacer es ir a ver las pequeñas galerías o museos pequeños como la Frick Collection o la Neue Gallery. También hay un montón de galerías muy interesantes en Chelsea.
Otra cosa que recomiendo es ir al cine (mi preferido el Sunshine Cinema) o ir a grandes almacenes tipo Barneys, Saks, Bloomingdales, Bergdorf & Goodman (con buenas vistas en la cafetería de la planta 7), Lord & Taylor, Macy's ...

As you all know from my previous post I was invited by Lev, the owner/CEO of my favorite bakery Cupcake Stop, to participate in their Food Truck Face Off competition at Lord and Taylor's FNO event this past Friday night. I had an amazing night!! Lord and Taylor's event was awesome and any time I'm around my favorite cupcakes is time well spent... The best part about it? We won!!! I kinda figured we would when we ran out of cupcakes in less than 2 hours. Over 2000 cupcakes were handed out to people who stood in quite a lengthy line. Apparently Cupcake Stop is everybody's favorite bakery!! As they should be...
