~Let's Hear It For The Boys... Glam Slam~

"Love thy neighbor and if he happens to be tall, debonair and devastating, it will be that much easier."
-Mae West

I've been surfing the web for 1 "Glam Slam Look" of the past week to post... And what did I find? Nothing. At all. Not even close. Is there a stylist strike I'm unaware of?! The ladies of the red carpet have seriously disappointed me as of late, but the men haven't. So.... I'm giving them their props. The men have the "Glam Slam Look Of The Week" this week. Sorry ladies, better luck next week...

The Dapper Dudes Of The Week...

Idris Elba (Who so needs to be the next James Bond):

Boris Kodjoe (I can't resist a man with the good sense to wear cufflinks...):

And....

Kevin Hart (No, that's not a typo. I've been digging his style as of late):

"Beauty is composed of an eternal, invariable element whose quantity is extremely difficult to determine, and a relative element which might be, either by turns or all at once, period, fashion, moral, passion."

The annual Costume Institute Gala At The Metropolitan Museum Of Art was held tonight in NYC and I swear this how I picture heaven. Couture here, couture there, couture everywhere... Like I said... Heaven. *sigh*

Just a few of my favorites...

~Blake Lively Goes Red... *Yawn* Her Dress However... AMAZING!!~

"My husband said he wanted to have a relationship with a redhead...so I dyed my hair."
-Jane Fonda

Blake Lively was on the red carpet for Time 100 Gala, held at the Frederick G Rose Hall in New York City on Tuesday April 26th. The very prestigious event honors Time magazine's 100 Most Influential People in the World and was apparently the perfect time for Blake to introduce her new status as a redhead. My opinion of the new hue? I don't really have one... It just isn't dramatic enough to get a reaction out of me. She kinda played it safe and didn't go too red. My gut reaction though? I prefer the blond...

However what did get a reaction out of me was the spectacular Zuhair Murad Couture gown she rocked... So f*cking stunning. Some people are making Little Mermaid comparisons. Ummm...ok. I personally don't quite see the whole "Ariel" thing but I do see how she was mistaken for a mesmerizing mermaid. So gorgeous...
