Emmanuelle Alt is the new editor in chief of Vogue Paris and will begin her new role on February 1. Replacing Carine Roitfeld, who held the position for 10 years, Emmanuelle has spent 10 years at the magazine, and just as many years topping best-dressed lists. Says president-director general of Conde Nast Xavier Romatet, "Vogue Paris is doing very well and I wanted to entrust the editorship to someone who can provide continuity while bringing new life"
Alt has worked as fashion director under Roitfeld for the duration of her editorship. She began her career in 1990 at Elle - becoming fashion director aged 20 - before undertaking the same role at Mixte, where she worked until 2000.
