The Smiths

In 5 years, between 1983 and 1987 The Smiths released almost 20 singles and 7 albums, and are recognised by the critics as one of the most significant bands of the 1980's.
What these two created, Steven Morrissey and Johnny Marr, was some of the most unique sounding pop music in history. The band was formed in the spring of 1982 in Manchester.
The name "The Smiths" was a reaction against all bands who chose complicated names to emphasise their music.

En 5 años, entre 1983 y 1987, The Smiths publicaron casi 20 singles y 7 álbums, y son reconocidos por la crítica como una de las bandas más importantes de la década de los 80.
Lo que estos dos crearon, Steven Morrissey y Johnny Marr, fue parte de la música pop más singular de la historia. La banda se formó en la primavera de 1982 en Manchester con Steven Morrissey y Johnny Marr.
El nombre de "The Smiths" fue una reacción contra todas las bandas que eligieron complicados nombres para enfatizar su música.

Rooftop concert

The very last time The Beatles performed together...great song but sad knowing this was the end.
La última vez que Los Beatles actuaron juntos ... gran canción, pero triste saber que fue el final.



What an amazing perfomance. I would love to run into someone that had been on that roof, I'm sure they have quite a story to tell, I would have loved to be on the rooftops with them.
Qué actuación tan increíble. Me encantaría encontrarme a alguien que haya estado en ese tejado, estoy segura de que hay toda una historia que contar, me hubiera gustado estar con ellos.



The Roof Top Concert was illegal. The Brittish Police waited until the entire Rooftop Concert was over to arrest them.

Oh Land

A few weeks ago I was invited to watch Oh land in New York.
I have to say that I loved the set, there were some balloms on the stage in which she pojects images. Really good idea.




Hace unas semanas me invitaron al concierto de Oh Land en Nueva York. He de decir que me encantó la puesta en escena, habia unos globos en los que se proyectaron imagenes. Muy buena idea.
