Mz.Beyonce Knowles (Carter) graces the cover of Allure Magazine's February issue. Rocking a variety of looks, my favorite by far is the Roberto Cavalli mini-dress and Cesar Paciotti sequined booties she sports on the cover. In the article she states she longer needs alter-ego "Sasha Fierce" because she's grown (she can do bad all by herself!!) and she has a found a way to merge the two. She says she wants people to HER... Oh, we see you Girl. We see you.

French Revue de Modes Magazine Fall/Winter 2009/2010: 12 Covers. 12 Cover models.

Coco Rocha, Ali Stephens, Karmen Pedaru, Dree Hemingway, Constance Jablonski, Kinée Diouf, Melo Dagault, Nikka, Marina Linchuk, Tania D. and Lakshmi Menon are the cover girls of the latest issue of French Revue de Modes. Photographer Thierry Le Gouès shot the models all dressed in black, each wearing the designs of a different designer.

I love the Roberto Cavalli outfit worn by Lakshmi and the Alexander McQueen boots worn by Tanya D.

~Coke On The Runway in Milan? Yes, But It's For A Good Cause~

Maybe you didn't know but "Glamour Whore" aka "LaBella Puppetta" (born "Ignazia") is a very proud product of Italy, well actually Sicily, and I write this post with great pride and joy... I love to see my fellow Italians giving back.

It's Fashion Week in Milan, Italy and yesterday instead of models with hour-glass figures, the models were shaped like Coke bottles. That's because they WERE Coke bottles...

Coca-Cola Italy, in collaboration with The Abruzzo Charity Project enlisted 8 female designers to design sleeves for a limited amount of "Coca-Cola Light" bottles (Italy's version of Diet Coke)to be available starting September 25th. Donatella Versace, Alberta Ferretti, Anna Molinari from Blumarine, Veronica Etro, Silvia Venturini Fendi, Marni’s Consuelo Castiglioni, Angela Missoni and Rossella Jardini at Moschino were the designers asked to participate, they said yes and the result is fabulous. The proceeds will be used by The Abruzzo Charity Project to help people/families affect by the devastating earthquake last year.

They kicked off the project at Fashion Week on Friday by showing the designs on the runway in the form of Coke bottles walking the runway...great idea.

Last year at the exact same time, Coca-Cola asked Roberto Cavalli to design bottles featuring his staple animal spots and stripes and it was very successful. This was the amazing result:



Oh how I wish these bottles were available here in the US. I may have to plan a trip back to my family's homeland, see some relatives and enjoy a designer bottle of soda...

2 random facts about Glamour Whore. 1) Lately, I find most people's idea/sense of glamour, style, fashion and sexiness to be seriously LACKING and BORING. Yeah, I said it.... 2) I have always found the rose to a be a boring bloom. Just too cliche for me.

With that being said I am tickled that the woman who I feel has the most glamorous, fashionable look out there at the moment is a rose. Amber Rose. She has re-ignited my passion for fashion, makeup and style. Amber is at the moment best known for being Kanye west's on-again off-again girlfriend. That however, is selling her short. The 25 year old Philly started out in music videos and "adult modeling" (Don't judge. Everyone starts somewhere.)I saw some of the photographs and in my opinion they are tasteful. All of that is behind her now. She is officially signed with Ford Models. I'm glad they had the good sense to snap her up. She made an appearance in a Louis Vuitton ad campaign with Kanye and it's clear she was born to model.

I love love love her look. The very very close haircut works on her in a way that no else could accomplish. She generally doesn't need a whole face full of makeup. Usually just a swipe of a fabulous hued lipstick and some eye catching accessories and voila... she's the most striking in the room.
