Limited Edition Ai Weiwei Charity T-Shirt

China’s best known artist Ai Weiwei, whose disappearance at the hands of Chinese authorities sparked international outrage, has designed a limited edition t-shirt range for Des Artistes, available exclusively in the UK at ethical fashion website fashion-conscience.com.

The t-shirt costs £75 and the designs are printed on organic or sustainable cotton. All profits will go to Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders) an independent humanitarian medical aid organisation.

Ai Weiwei is best known for his Bird's Nest Olympic Stadium in Beijing and Sunflower Seeds installation at Tate Modern.
