There's nothing quite like that "afterglow"...*sigh* Vitamin "O" is nature's best beauty product. However, as we all know...sometimes a genuine "O" doesn't always make an appearance. Enter Nars. For years and years Nars cosmetics "Orgasm" blush has been a cult favorite. It's a fab shade that looks amazing on almost everyone and has a catchy name. Although it didn't always make you "glow"... until now. Nars has added a new product to it's growing "Orgasm" line..."Nars Orgasm Illuminator". It's along the lines of the "The Multiple" , but it's liquid in form and it leaves more of a glowy/dewy look than The Multiple. I can't wait to see how it looks over sunkissed skin in the summertime. I can always count on Nars for an amazing "Orgasm"...

Francois Nars is celebrating the company that bears his name (of which he is founder and Creative Director) turning 15 by releasing an AMAZING book titled "15x15". Francois did the makeup for the book but he also played the role of photographer, photographing the 15 people he chose to be featured in the book.
The difference between earlier published books by Nars and this one is having the subject pick 2 inspirations. The first one a classic Nars product and the other a iconic person, image,place or emotion. Also, every cent of the $80 cost of this book is going to charity, a few charities actually as I believe each model/subject picked their own cause to donate to. Just 1500 hand numbered copies will be printed, whatever isn't sold on http://www.15x15project.com/ will be sold via http://www.narscosmetics.com/
I mentioned above that Nars played the role of photographer for this book, but he did something that I think made the book as interesting as it is. He shot the pictures of his subjects and then turned a Leica camera over to them and had them shoot their inspiration shots. The result was pure genius. The subjects/amateur photogs are :Marc Jacobs, Isabella Rossellini, Amber Valletta, Dayle Haddon, Naomi Campbell, Amanda Lepore, Daphne Guinness, François Vincentelli, Natasha Poly, Lisa Marie Smith, Olivier Theyskens, Carla Gugino, Shalom Harlow, Tyson Ballou and Jennifer Jason Leigh. And I have to say, Marc Jacobs just may wear red lipstick BETTER than any woman...he looks FABULOUS!!
