Letterman: "What were you doing when you first became aware of this kind of music? Where were you?"
Jay Z: "The first time I ever seen someone rapping, I remember I was in Marcy Projects. There was a circle around this guy and he just was free styling off the top of his head. And you know, he was saying all these magnificent things and actually uh...all these insults."

Letterman: "What was the source of the violence?"
Jay Z: "What do you mean?"
Letterman: "You said some days it would turn violent, what would turn it?"
Jay Z: "Little guys with big guns"

-Jay Z on The Late Show With David Letterman

Jay Z appeared on The Late Show With David Letterman this week to promote his new book "Decoded" and his Greatest Hits Collection. As always he was funny, insightful, funny, stylish and most importantly...real. I love when Hov appears on Letterman's show because it always seems to bring out his wickedly dry sense of humor.

I need that Greatest Hits Collection asap...

A past episode that still makes me laugh...

Talented. Intelligent. Insightful. Funny. Stylish. Real. Hov.

~I Hate Myself For It...But...I want it. I Want That Lollipop!~

"Today I'm handing out lollipops and ass-whoopins and right now, I'm all out of lollipops.”
-Grace to Jack "Will & Grace"

I am filled with self-loathing right now. So disgusted with myself. But it is what it is and I am what I am. And what it is is a $26 dollar tacky "Couture" (self proclaimed...) lollipop Kim Kardashian is hawking for
"Sugar Company". And what I am is a straight up Glamour Whore that feels $26 dollars is not too much to much to spend on a tacky lollipop. Seriously...tacky. I mean really gaudy. But I want it. Bad. I just can't help myself...

"Aren't women prudes if they don't and prostitutes if they do?"
~Kate Millett

Mischa Barton has been cast a prostitute for an upcoming episode of Law and Order SUV. Apparently filming has commenced... The lollipop is a nice touch.

No mesh? No fishnet? No cleavage? I'm confused...When did hookers start wearing flowered tunics on the streets of NYC?! I blame Giuliani.

~Mila Kunis: Esquire Magazine's "Miss Midwinter Pick Me Up"~ **PIX and VIDEO**

"Not only am I beautiful and smart, I even crack myself up!"
~ Mila Kiunis as "Jackie Burkhart" (That 70s Show)

Esquire Magazine has added Mila Kunis to their "Women We Love" gallery. And I ain't mad at em... Normally I wouldn't pay any mind to the lists that men's magazines create as a reason to stare at sexy women. However, I applaud this pick. Mila is smart, glam, and surprisingly funny. And she's sexy in a classy, come-hither kinda way. Not trashy... So refreshing.

Nice choice Esquire.. Mila is also featured in a photo spread in their February issue. Fab lace dress and killer shoes...omg.

I actually learned alot about Mz.Kunis while reading
"12 Things You Don't Know About Mila Kunis" on the magazine's website.
For instance...
Did you know she can legitimately claim to be the young Angelina Jolie? A fifteen-year-old Kunis starred as the younger version of Gia, the heroin-addicted bisexual model, in HBO's biopic. Jolie played Gia as an adult. Kunis's parents didn't quite know quite how lurid the movie was until it came out.
"They were like, 'What did we put you in?!' They were as dumbfounded as I was."

Mila also starred in Esquires latest "Women We Love" mini-movie series... Peep the shoes!! Seriously...peep the shoes. *sigh*

~Fashion Intervention -Leighton Meester~

"All styles are good except the tiresome kind." -Voltaire

I try so hard to keep "Glamour Whore" positive and non-bashing. I really do. For as bitchy as I can be in real life, yes I'm kind of bitchy... you read it here first, on-line and in print I try not to be harsh about the fails and accentuate the wins. HOWEVER...I will not be an enabler. Leighton Meester needs a fashion intervention and I feel it's my duty to bring attention to the matter and make a public plea on her behalf. Mz.Meester is on a TV show (Gossip Girl for those who are enjoying their first day out from under the rock) whose wardrobe department may be the best on cable. If they don't win an Emmy it will be straight robbery. That being said...they can't help her?! Seriously?! And what's really good with Blake Lively in all of this?! Blake has more than a few looks in my Glamour Whore Hall Of Fame, she can't help her girl out?! Whisper in ear that she may need some help... Please Blake, do it for me!! It will be an act of Glamour Goodwill! Stylists, if you are reading this...HELP HER!! Designers...send her something ASAP!! We all need to pull together and help this girl...

She had so much promise...her look for the 2009 Oscars was pure glamour and on point. I was excited to see more red carpet looks from her. Be careful of what you wish for...yikes. It was downhill quickly...

It's just plain sad what's become of her style...

Ahhhh....The good ol'days when she got it right:

Please help this Girl...she is seriously in Glamour Distress. *sigh*

~Watch Out Simon...There May Be A New Judge In Town~

Follow my blog with bloglovin´

"Anger is a manifestation of a deeper issue... and that, for me, is based on insecurity, self-esteem and loneliness." -Naomi Campbell

Vogue UK reports that Naomi Campbell is set to host and JUDGE a X-Factor style modeling show... Apparently along the lines of a British "America's Next Top Model"...BRILLIANT!!! Move over Simon, make room for the judge that will make you look sympathetic, nurturing, and compassionate.

Naomi's representatives are quoted as saying "Naomi has been approached with an offer, which we are talking about and discussing. An initial approach has been made. We are discussing that offer, but nothing is set in stone yet." -End quote.

I personally think it is GENIUS casting. Everyone will tune in, even people who have never read a issue of Vogue in their entire life are aware of Naomi and her infamous temper. They will want to watch and so will I... Is it wrong that I kinda sorta hope she throws something at someone? Wrong or not...I wanna see it.
